The Anniversary List

Here you can define which anniversaries to import into a calendar.

The table shows the anniversaries BirthdayScanner X found in your Address Book. There are multiple ways you can filter this table:

  • All Contacts (A) (upper left corner): This is a drop-down to filter by Address Book Group.
  • All (B): shows both contacts with and without anniversaries
  • Found (C): only shows contacts with anniversaries.
  • Missing (D): only shows contacts for which no anniversaries were found.
  • In the Filter (E) entry field in the upper right corner of the table you can enter a search term.
Example: enter Robinson to find all "Robinson"s among your contacts. Enter Wedding day to find all wedding days.

Double-clicking on any row in the table will open the Address Book on that contact. This is a quick way to add or change anniversary data.

Hint: a good way to add missing birthdays to your Address Book: Select Missing and double-click on the rows to open the contact in Address Book. When changing them, BirthdayScanner X will "get it" and update the table.

You check-mark a contact to tell BirthdayScanner X to import it next time it runs an import. There are multiple ways to set those check-marks:

  • Just click on the check-mark (kind of obvious...)
  • Clicking +All (F) will check-mark all contacts which are visible in the table.
(This is an easy way to quickly check-mark a selected group of people, e.g. a family: first filter the list to only show the people you want, e.g. by entering the family name in the Filter search field or by selecting a special Address Book Group. Then, hit +All to check-mark only those people.)
  • Likewise, -All (G) will remove the check-mark from all visible contacts.
  • +Selected (H) will check-mark all contacts which are currently selected (highlighted blue).
-Selected (I) removes the check-marks on the selected lines.
  • Revert to last Imported (J) sets the check-marks to all those contacts which you imported the last time.
  • All these things you also can do via context menu - Right (CTRL) click on any row to get the context menu.
